I watched the CNN coverage in the Spring of 2002 of various events in Gaza and the West Bank, and it was a legitimate attempt to give credence to varioius claims made by the Palestinians. In fact, my jewish neighbors at the time were furious and "Boycott CNN" stickers were even being advertised in a jewish publication.

Furthermore, jews don't always control every last bit of media information, which is why the Israeli spy story got on the Brit Hume show.
